Review summary

Beautiful itinerary. We had a great time catching up with friends from previous cruise.

Embarkation

Uber dropped us right at the pier where we dropped our bags and got in line. the lone was a bit long but we talked with fellow cruisers so it didn't sremember long at all.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Main dining room 1st night was very good beef tenderloin. None of the other nights lived up to it. Seemed to be mostly same menu every night. Buffets had loads of average food. Our previous experience on RCL was in 1991 and food was much better than current trip

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Evening activities were too crowded no place to sit

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Entertainment was good

Children's Programs

did not travel with children

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Armando was a wonderful room steward. All staff were pleasant & professional. Dining room staff were not always on top of things forgetting to bring sauces or butter/sour cream etc.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Centrum is a beautiful multi level area but there is not enough seating. Mostly skipped entertainment in Centrum as we got tired of standing. Most of the elevators are in one area. Makes for big crowds all the time. There's no lounge at front of ship (crows nest) to sit & watch the sea go by. Just seemed hard to find places to sit and visit with other cruisers. Windjammer buffet closed completely at times so no access to tea or coffee, ice cream, already closed when show ends

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Lovation was terrible. Aft lowest deck right under dining room. I could hear footsteps & carts rattling up there late night & very early morning. Size & comfort ok but the shower is horribly small, tucked in a corner with a curved curtain rod. You can't even raise arms to shampoo without hitting the sides. Bed not as comfortable as Holland America

self debate...just rolled our suitcases right off ship & walked to hotel. Discovered we had left a new hat in cabin so walled back to terminal & found RCL employee who radioed someone on board and in less the 10 minutes hat was brought to us
