Onboard Activities

Great family ship. We enjoyed rock climbing, mini golf and the pools. The kids waterside was a little bit old and slow.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
Overall the entertainment was good. We loved the boys in the band show and enjoyed watching game shows attending dance workshops and themed dance parties.
There was only one stage show we couldn't sit through which was a comedian juggler. He just want up to the standard of the other entertainers

Ship Quality

The ship was always clean and tidy but decor is looking a little dated so could do with a refurbishment.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
We were presently surprised with the spaciousness of the cabin. It had a large port hole window comfortable large queen bed and 2 Pullman beds pull down at night for the children to sleep in. There was plenty of storage as to help keep the cabin clean and uncluttered.
We loved Sydney especially Darling Houbour. We enjoyed the free fireworks show they put on every Saturday night. We also enjoyed the aquarium and wildlife park all situated in Darling Harbour. Public transport is excellent with trains buses and fairies. Pay with an opal card purchased at any convenience store. On Sunday they have Family day where public transport costs a capped for the day at $2.70.
We did not book an excursion here there wasn't anything that took our interest. Port Chalmers is a very small town and didn't seem to cater well for cruise ships passengers. It's about half an hour to Dunedin the ship provided shuttle buses but it cost $20 Each person no matter what currency nz,au or us. I used this port to get laundary done. There was a laundromat walking distance for the ship so got a large load of laundry washed and dried for $7.
Smooth tendering into this port. We chose to do a 2 hour nature cruise with Blackcat cruises. It was excellent we got to see a lot of wildlife and great scenery . Would highly recommend. Akaroa is a lovely little town with plenty to see an do.
A pretty little seaside town. We went on the Marlborough flyer steam train to Blenheim. We loved the train ride it self but Blenheim itself was a bit boring. They didn't seem to cater well to tourist. And the tourist attractions they did have were too far from town and there wasn't transport available to get there.
