Review summary

We stayed in an Air B&B in Vancouver to save on the outrageous hotel fees. The bus from Seward to Anchorage airport paralleled the train tracks and cost 100$ less. Everything in between was pretty pricy but just beautiful. Truly a once in a lifetime trip.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food was wonderful. Alcohol drinks were on par with prices where we live for the most part.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Lots to do but nothing we were interested in. Lots of health seminars, dance classes, Spanish lessons.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
We didn’t get to much of it as times coincided with our dining room time and 10 was just too late on a full tummy.

Service and Staff

Fabulous!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Radiance of the seas is a lovely smallish ship. It shows some signs a wear but the staff was always cleaning.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
We had a balcony cabin which included a sofa bed. When the sofa was being used as a couch the room was very spacious, for a cruise. Bathroom was fine, water pressure was great and good and hot. The bed was king size but hard as the floor. It took us a few days to adjust to the bed. The cabin made use of every available nook and cranny for storage.

Ship tip

Skip the WiFi and just down load movies or TV to your tablet. I paid 15$ a day and only had WiFi for 2 days.

Which air B&Bs did you stay at? What bus line did you take from Seward to Anchorage? We have a cruise booked for next June.
