Overall an excellent time. Definitely spend more for a balcony or suite as the views and glacier experience are worth it.

Food and service in the main dining room (late seating) was excellent. For drinkers, I highly recommend the premium beverage package. If you only have one speciality coffee, two bottled waters, two drinks and two glasses of wine at dinner, it is worth it!

loved the orchestry and dancers/singers at the shows but the outside comedians were a bit lame.

Yes, it is an older ship and does need another overhaul but everything was clean. Public restrooms were always being cleaned by maitenance.

Ship tip
Definitely try to smuggle (in checked baggage) an extension cord and brick as there were only two working outlets in the room
a higlight of the trip. Whale watch, city tour in trolly, ride up the mountain and mendenhall glacier. Definitely take the trek to the waterfall, it is highly worth it!
