Review summary

Alaska is a very beautiful state and has a lot to offer in regards to scenery and excursions. I am very glad I chose a southbound cruise instead of roundtrip because it allowed more time in each port. I was talking to others on the same excursions from other ships and they were disappointed in the time in port. This was my first Royal Caribbean cruise and overall was a good experience. I would not hesitate to sail with Royal Caribbean again. Next time I will choose a destination with a bigger ship to get a true comparison.

Dining staff in Cascades were fabulous! Randy and Usep took wonderful care to make sure everything was up to our standard. On the rare occasion it was not they fixed it immediately. They treated my 6 year old daughter like a princess. I don't think she wanted to leave.

Ship Quality

Well maintained ship. Easy to get around after a couple of days. I liked the day of the week placed in the elevators. Nice touch!
