Review summary

disappointing. As this cruise line has no understanding of customer service, I will not be using them again. They changed the time on an excursion and failed to notify us, so we missed it and they wouldn't reimburse us, even partially.

Ketchikan was the straw that broke the camel's back. We had signed up to go on a flight (the 4 of us for over $1100). The time of the excursion was changed since we began our trip and we were not notified. When we showed up at 3:15 for a 3:30 excursion, we were informed that they had left already. We tried to contact Royal Carribean right away to see if we could take a cab to the excursion, but we couldnt reach anyone in the ship or on the phone. Afterwards, we contacted them to see if we could get at least a partial refund, since they CHANGED THE TIME AND DIDNT INFORM US (it is not like they didnt know where we were, right?) but they refused. I cannot imagine how they think that is good customer service. My kids were horribly disappointed, as that was to be the highlight of our excursions.

And did you book thru the cruiseline? If not, pretty much any cruise line would not refund. Sorry this happened.

Wow, really?? Did they admit they changed the time? Did the other passengers make it to the excursion on time?
