Radiance Survey

Sail Date: March 28, 2011

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Suite

Was a bit worn.

Pros: Getting away

Cons: No one mentioned there was a overhang over the balcony limiting sun and forcing me to battle for chaises on the upper decks.

Recommends Radiance of the Seas? No.

Food and Dining
Disappointed in Cascade's food quality. Windjammer had better tasting food. Portofino and Chops were excellent.
Service and Staff
Portfofino and Chops staff went above and beyond.
Children's Programs
Kids would not use due to age ranges.
Ship Quality
Deck 10 hallway reeked of smoke.
Cabin / Stateroom
Liked the cabin, disappointed in the balcony overhang. Hate the fact that smokers can use the balcony. I don't like inhaling second hand smoke.
Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico
Used an external excursion company. Area around the pier was tacky.
Don't Miss: Chennoben
Cozumel, Mexico

Don't Miss: Beaches were awful. Waste of money and time. Too crowded, money grubbing.
