Mostly very nice!

Sail Date: March 28, 2011

Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Oceanview

Great Food, great cabin attendant, nice people throughout, the look (decor) of the ship is very nice, good/very good shows. On the flip-bad side...our shore excursion picked us up at the ship but dropped us off in the middle of Cozumel (a blatant nickel/dime approach to get us to spend another $9 to taxi back to the ship). The water slide (modest that it is) was only open limited hours..should be staffed more often. Nothing on the website about RC not changing diapers, no beepers for parents, Fischer-Price Room was a joke: about 10'x10' w no windows and a parent had to stay w the child. This is not a good cruise unless your young child is potty trained...Carnival much superior in that respect!

Pros: Food, Service, price, decor of ship, the shows

Cons: Shore Excursion, Kids Club, waterslide not open more often, Fischer-Price Room (for very young kids/babies) was atrocious

Recommends Radiance of the Seas? Yes!

Children's Programs

Ship Quality
Cabin / Stateroom
Small but clean, cabin attendant was great, tip heavily!
Service and Staff
Food and Dining
Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico
Be careful...my 3 year old picked up a trinket at 2 different shops and both times an employee came back to me saying he had broken it and I'd have to pay for it...full price. I said no way both times...buyer beware!
Cozumel, Mexico
Tulum Ruins...excellent but could use more info/details on the long way there. This is where, at the end, they drop you off in the middle of Cozumel mking you pay for a taxi back t o the ship.
