Queen Victoria

12 Night Voyage Of The Vikings (Southampton Roundtrip)

Sail date: June 10, 2008

Ship: Queen Victoria

Cabin type: Balcony

Reviewed: 14 years ago

Review summary

The ship is new and beautiful. It caters of course to the clientele of United England. The afternoon tea and scones were very good. But, the organization and layout of the lido deck and the poor service in the main dining room is one of the worst I have been on. ( Which I have been on all cruise lines) The food and service is exceptional if you have paid the extra money and are staying in a suite- you have a different crew.

The tour that includes the whole day and delivers you to Geiranger at the end of day was the best tour on the trip. Hair pin turns and lookout points that were beautiful in the fjords.

Nothing there- desolate except for a fishing village of about 150 people and reindeer.
