Review summary

I would of rated this a 5 except our room was below the pizza kitchen in which we heard chairs and clanging all night long. Did not sleep but maybe a few hours mainly in the day. I was with three other couples including my 85 year old dad. When brought to their attention they offered us 25% off our next cruise. This was my dad's probably last cruise. Why would I want to pay more money and book another cruise with Royal Carribean. They then came to the room and offered $100.00 off. Still not happy considering I go on vacation to rest up. Lack of sleep prevented us from doing a few things on the ship and my father from going off the boat to see Alaska. He stayed on the ship to try to get some sleep. Cannot see booking on Royal Carribean again! Service in Dining was above and beyond! Our room was clean.

Onboard Activities

Would of rated higher but the line to do bumper cars was always a long wait for a short ride. Laser tag was full.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
All were great but Stargate was horrible. Left the show half way thru with many others!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Waiters Analita and Kardek were the best I have ever experienced!

Cabin / Stateroom

1 out of 5
Should never have been used as a cabin. Could not sleep as you hear chairs being rolled across the floor and clanging all night long every night.

Ship tip

Don't book a room on floor 3 you will get NO sleep!

Always pick a cabin on a deck wth cabins above and below. Never under the pool deck or a restaurant, bar etc.

Always check where your cabin is,make sure its just cabins above and below, speaking from experience

You should always pick your own cabin. Cabins on either side and on the floor above and below.

I actually think you were very lucky to be offered compensation, it was pretty good of them to do that.

Thank you for sharing your cruising experience.

The only thing I can say is that deck plans are available for the purpose of determining where your cabin is located. Using this information is key, them there are cruise forums where you can inquire about location. Sorry you didn't think to do this and had a bad time.

Oh no! Selecting a cabin location sandwiched between other cabins is key!
