This was a very relaxing cruise, which we enjoyed. Since we are still in COVID-19 times we didn't expect everything to be perfect, but Royal Caribbean and the Quantum of the Seas did a really good job. Our main complaint was the main dining room being understaffed for those even with appointments. The line to eat before 8 pm was a bit ridiculous.
Everything else was nice, even though we didn't get to the Fjord Glacier, I appreciate the captain choosing safety first.
Embarkation
3 out of 5
Embarkation was very chaotic... very disorganized outside of the building. Once we were in the building the lines were defined and moving.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
The Mediterranean restaurant was always on point, the main dining room was understaffed for the MyTime dining with reservations. The buffets were well stocked and has a crewmember directing EVERYONE that entered to wash their hands, which was a great thing.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
The Solarium indoor pool for adults only was nice. The fitness center was nice.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
The shows were really good. The dancers were excellent.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
Our initial room steward was great and then it changed to someone else that was ok. She kept trying to enter the room while we were in it. Not cool.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
The ship's layout and design was really nice. I felt like I was in a Las Vegas Resort at times.
Cabin / Stateroom
3 out of 5
Our cabin was spacious and clean. The view from the balcony had an overhang from the running track above us. The main issue was the smell that came from the bathroom. The bathroom smelled like a sewer after the toilet was flushed... disgusting
Ship tip
Don't get a cabin on deck 13 if you want a full view. Select a regular , not MY TIME dining option if you want to eat in the main dining room for dinner.
hop on hop off bus tour. but because of the ships arrival time we couldnt hop off and then get back on. We went in a circle and say the route but would have liked to get out an explore a bit.
