Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
The dining room is nice, semi formal to super formal for all dinners, casual for breakfast and lunch. The wait staff we had, definitely had a good sense of humour, considering we were in the minority (non American and not of retirement age)
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
Onboard activities focused on retirement age/elderly - old school music, old school comedians, controversial movies old and new, casino, shuffleboard, golf, spa, gym, walking track and of course had a Jacuzzi,
Entertainment
3 out of 5
Old School suited to older generations
Children's Programs
1 out of 5
There isn’t any children’s programs, it’s not frowned upon to bring children on board, however they are not accommodated for
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
Our Room steward was awesome, we gave him our own tips, separate from the mandatory ‘gratuities’, our wait staff were awesome, given commendations to management on our debarkation. Didn’t really associate with much other staff, past the average greetings as we didn’t really do much of the activities on board, we are 44 & 46, but they were suited to a lot older market
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
Clean and well maintained. Only disappointment was our cabin window exterior hadn’t been cleaned in a while, stopped me from taking photos of the view from our room
Cabin / Stateroom

Bed is amazing, best sleep I’ve had in a long time, considering purchasing their bed line. The room is the usual box, annoyed at the size or lack there of in the en-suite, I’m short and slim, but still found it difficult to shower, don’t get me started on the water temp fluctuation
The culture draws you in and the Koum Quat distillery is a definite requirement to on your visit. The scenery is amazing and our tour guide was awesome, I want to go back one day
We took a tour to Pompei and Amalfi, when I go back I would be inclined to book a car and driver, just to go to Pompei and explore for the day, we only got to see a smidgen of it and the Amalfi coast is over-rated and sickening for even the most travelled, I don’t suffer travel sickness and was ready to hurl on arrival just from the drive on the edge
We started cruising when we were your age and noticed a lot of older cruisers who were really enjoying themselves a nd all we could think of was that we would be so happy if we could still be able to cruise at their ages,we had very good interaction with them,as if they were are ages. Now we are about their ages and continue to cruise and enjoy life, its good to look ahead!
