We had a fantastic time on this cruise both because of the itinerary and because of the fabulous crew on the Pacific Princess. The small ship experience was great, easy to get from one place to another and so many wonderful crew members and friendly passengers.

This is an oceanview, not interior room. Comfortable, lots of drawers, shelves and closet space. We even had a small sofa. Great Princess bed and pillows. It was clean ... only downside is the small shower with a curtain but that’s minor.

Get to know the crew ... they are wonderful and make the cruise even better.
Thankfully, we had visited Venice before and were not highly impacted by the rainy weather and daily flooding. However, we were not able to do a planned excursion (not Princess) because the boats were cancelled
Beautiful sail in (get up early) and sail out through the fjord. Great HOHO bus to visit Roman mosaics, small towns and lovely stroll through old town with the HOHO supplied guide.
Not such a good HOHO experience but worth taking to get to the outskirts. Another interesting old town and great lunch in small, family run restaurant.
The port area is a little rough but the old town is still within walking distance. Took a half day excursion through Princess that was great ... wine tasting on Mt Etna.
