Review summary

Our Alaskan cruise was awesome and we were so glad we went on this cruise. Every cruise is very different. Some very cold, wet, and windy and some like ours, just wonderful.

Embarkation

Cab dropped us off near ship, we showed our info, and went right on board

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The Wind Jammer was great. Great food, service, and cleanliness. Main dining could use a bit of improvement. Most food selection was just selections that were not to our taste so much and most nights service was much slower than our other cruises. Very clean and up beat with excitement tho.

Windjammer Marketplace

5 out of 5

Just an added note, thanks so much for the Wind Jammer staff having breakfast ready earlier on days that we had an early disembarkment.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Lots of activities, especially traveling to Alaska.

Entertainment

We only attended bingo and it was fun

Children's Programs

We took no children

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Ruel was great at keeping our room clean and worked closely with us with the timing of the cleaning. Jamie kept us smiling in the dining room.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Beautiful ship, large ship, and clean ship

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Our cabin size was great (wish the designer had made the showers larger and toilets quieter)

Ship tip

When traveling to Alaska, determine whether you want a large ship to travel on the Pacific side or small ship to travel the inside passage.

We did the luggage valet the night before. It was great. We showed our sign and sail card and just walked on off.
