Review summary

I really enjoyed every part of it. Alaska and BC are beautiful. I’d do it again, but on a different ship.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Cleanliness is great. Although Ovation is both beautiful and clean, I’m not thrilled about the design of it.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Cabins are clean and spacious, but the mattresses are HORRIBLY stiff and uncomfortable. So much so, that I’m afraid to book this ship again.

Ship tip

It’s beautiful. Take pictures.

Ports of call

Seattle, Washington

5 out of 5
We loved Seattle. Pike’s Market was a wonderful experience. Packed with tourists, and very busy but lots to see and do and eat and buy. Ivar’s on the pier has the best clam chowder I’ve ever had. The food there is fantastic and the service is really good. Downtown is nice, but be warned, there are a LOT of homeless people wondering around all over. Heavy police presence, and it’s much appreciated.
