Review summary

Hard to put the whole trip into words. Over a year of preparation, the cross country travel to get there with such a large group, the experience of even getting on the vessel and the week long destination before having to round it all back on the return trip. A memorable life experience is the simplest way to put it. My only real complain was not even the fault of the trip itself; not getting to see the northern lights. I will just have to try again another.. decade or so to prepare another trip!

Embarkation

3 out of 5
To be fair, about a half hour after embarking we had to return to the docks

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Almost too many food choices, making it amusing to try to have everything at least once

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
The options were varied for sure, though there were difficulties using the app to actually schedule appointments for a lot of the given options.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
More of a personal preference on my end, just not a fan of a lot of the musical options, but I assume most others enjoyed it.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
Seemed to always be available when needed and never had any complications.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Everything was essentially perfect, with the exception of the personnel in charge of the Sundials shop on Deck 4. He was consistently rude to me, family, and other person any time I was in that area. I was somewhat.. surprised that he was allowed to harass people to that degree with no repercussions.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Never had an issue with cleanliness during the week.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
On the small side for sure, but that was to be expected with purchasing the the most cost effective room available, no issues beyond that though.

Ship tip

Look up the meal menus ahead of time for dining and for the themes of the buffet nights, in case there is a type you are hoping for. A family member constantly grumbled to me about not realizing they missed the night when they were offering Indian cuisine.

Ports of call

Seattle, Washington

4 out of 5
Overcast and raining, but the area is known for it. Enjoyed getting to visit Space Needle.

Cruise Inside Passage, Alaska Did not visit port

I dont even recall section as a port option?

Juneau, Alaska

5 out of 5
The trip to Salmon Falls was more interesting than expected.

Skagway, Alaska

2 out of 5
Not to me personally, but there was some "issues" with my family having their train excursion crash and was trapped in the mountain ranges for hours.

CRUISE ENDICOTT ARM & DAWES GLACIER

5 out of 5
Highlight of the trip for scenery at least, though really wished we could get closer, but the area did not permit it.

Victoria, British Columbia

5 out of 5
Didn't get to be there long, but the trip to the nearby gardens to see the vibrant colors of plantlife and animals werent unexpectedly pleasant.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
The lines were long to get off, but with over 4k people, kind of expected. Went smoothly otherwise
