Review summary

This was a great cruise and can’t wait to go back.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Seattle’s port is a little tight. Two ships small area, lots of people.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Food was good, better than it has been the last couple of years. We went to Chops twice and Jamie’s Table. I enjoyed the food, cooked to your liking. Wife did not care for Jamie’s table that much, I thought the food was excellent.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Always something to do and easy to find a quiet place to sit back and relax.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We enjoyed the shows on this cruise. The cabaret show in Two70 was a little weird but not bad. The comedy acts were on point and they had an 80 rock band that had everyone on their feet.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Staff in the dining area and our room steward, Sharon was excellent.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Clean ship, did not feel crowded, easy to get around. Only two elevator shafts so sometimes it’s a wait but not bad.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Two closets, plenary of room for storage, no obstruction for the great views of Alaska.

Ship tip

Book whatever you can online, once on the ship book your dining times and any special activities. We did overpack but better safe than sorry. Weather was PERFECT this trip. Listen, food in Alaska is expensive so be prepared to pay top dollar for a meal off ship.

Ports of call

Seattle, Washington

I can’t say anything nice about this place. Filthy.

Cruise Inside Passage, Alaska

5 out of 5
Bring binoculars and a extended range lens for any camera system. Beautiful sights.

Juneau, Alaska

5 out of 5
Great place to walk around and shop, food is expensive though.

Skagway, Alaska

5 out of 5
Great time, did the white pass rail road and it was beautiful. Totally enjoyed it. City was small and cozy.

Victoria, British Columbia

5 out of 5
Beautiful city. Take the bus to downtown and walk around. I could live there.

CRUISE ENDICOTT ARM & DAWES GLACIER

5 out of 5

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
Easy, no facial recognition for passport holders to make it a little faster. Long walk to the Uber pick up area. Difficult for older tourist.
