Review summary

In summation going on a cruise titled Dawes Glacier Cruise and Not going there was VERY disappointing. Almost seems like they owe us an experience. For this I could not recommend this cruise to friends.

Went on a bus tour From cruises only as the ships excursions were sold out. Tour left a lot to be desired

CRUISE ENDICOTT ARM & DAWES GLACIER Did not visit port

The daylight was limited so the captain chose to bypass this port for safety reasons. Had we not booked an excursion to the Mendenhall Glacier we would NOT have seen any glacier on a cruise that was named foe the Dawes glacier.Very disappointing.

Juneau, Alaska

Ok excursion. Since no Dawes Glacier we had extra time here. Went to the Mendenhall Glacier. Disappointed this was the only one we saw.

Skagway, Alaska

Why have a gold rush excursion in a town that never experienced the gold rush. Not impressed / poorly titled. City and White Pass Summit tour very good. Scenic and good tour guide.

Victoria, British Columbia

Not impressed as we arrived at 5 pm and had till 10 to reboard the ship. Minimal daylight to experience the area. Female bus driver very good.

Disembarkation

Couldn’t have been better. The offer to acquire our airline boarding passes and check our baggage was great. A tour of Seattle with transport to the airport would have topped this off.

Dawes Glacier is not a port. The ship just sails through Endicott Arm and by the glacier, providing they can get through, depending on how many small icebergs are floating there.
