Review summary

Did not meet expectations. Did not see glaciers, the namesake of cruise, and, unlike previous cruises, was not compensated for change in itinerary. Was not given alternate opportunity to see glaciers as most excursions were booked by the time we were notified of the changes. Very disappointed to miss the major attraction of this cruise.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
Compared to my previous cruises, the food and drinks were below average. Food was never cooked to preference, i.e. if I wanted my steak cooked medium, it was cooked medium rare. Food usually came out lukewarm or room temperature, never felt fresh from the stove or hot

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
Onboard activities consisted of a lot of repeats. For example, on one day at sea there were 5 types of trivia happening throughout the day. There was a lack of variety, especially on a 10 day cruise

Entertainment

2 out of 5
Compared to previous cruises, once again lacked variety. Previously, there was at least one other performance to see in place of or in addition to the headliner. Instead, there was only the headliner performing twice a night.

Caught COVID in Skagway. Would've been fine otherwise.

Victoria, British Columbia

This day consisted of half at sea, half at port. Only allowed 4 hours at port, it was nightfall halfway through our time. Not nearly enough time to even get to town.

Ive cruised on this ship last year and had an amazing time. Was the ships second cruise since the restart and didn't have the issues you are complaining about. RCCL doesn't go to Glacier Bay and I'm beginning to question your review as authentic and reliable. I believe if you want to ruin your cruise by nit-picking on whats wrong instead of enjoying your cruise, you did it to yourself. Its a shame people with over high expectations ruin what would have been an amazing cruise.
