RCL Next Cruise is much less flexible than Princess' Future Cruise Deposit. Benefits are lost if you don't book a cruise within 2 months. Also, it is a non-refundable deposit, whereas the Princess deposit is refunded if not used within 2 years.

Glad you enjoyed your overall cruise experience. Yes, the masking up can be annoying, but it's a hoop I willingly jump through to be able to cruise again!
