Neptune suite recognition just ok. Did acknowledge bday which was very nice.Embarkation
Easy…however had to ask for preferred boarding since we were in a Neptune Suite. Didn’t appear the wait would be long anyhow. Issue was that no priority for our luggage…. Took 3 1/2 hours, although our cabin was ready immediately
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
Just very average. Very few things memorable and delicious. Buffet ok, crowded and food not always hot. Service in the dining room was not nearly as good as prior cruises. Lacking detail and finesse. Pool taco bar and hamburger stand best food on the ship. Often, dirty glasses and plates would remain untouched for hours by the pool. Not enough servers, and the pool attendants only dealt with the towels and chairs. Left dirty plates untouched even when they had nothing else to do. Bar server Eric was amazing! Stingy pours from most places. Don’t much care for the 15 limit bc I drink a lot of water and didn’t know they were part of that until I went over on the first day. Suite breakfast nice but nothing special specialty restaurants better but things still lacking.
Onboard Activities
Average pool. Crowded, little shade.
Entertainment
Not a strong point. Rolling Stones band was good though.
Service and Staff
Understaffed, inconsistent. Most staff try hard and are very nice. Cannot understand how H/A lets staff eat at buffet when there are no tables for guests. We ate by the pool to avoid this.
Ship Quality
Needs a dry dock.
Cabin / Stateroom
Spacious but in need of update. Our stewards helped make things nicer. Again some details lacking, especially for paying for a suite. No chaise lounges on the large deck. Laundry included was a nice perk.
