Ship experiences
Food and Dining
My wife has food allergies that were not accommodated. She had been told ahead of time that there would not be a problem. In reality, she had very little food choices.
Onboard Activities
The gym was great. They had a good selection of equipment.
Entertainment
The shows were very entertaining. There was always something available to do if you were looking. There were dueling pianists/singers every night. The comedian and magic shows were wonderful.
They had plenty of classes available such as Microsoft programs or digital photography.
Children's Programs
We didn't have children with us
Service and Staff
The cabin stewards were vey attentive and accommodating. Room service was prompt. Dining room waiters were very courteous and attentive. They anticipated our needs before we even asked. They kept our cabin neat and seemed to anticipate exactly when we would be out of the room do that they could service the cabin.
Ship Quality
Everything was pristine. Everywhere you looked, someone was cleaning something.
Cabin / Stateroom
We chose the Signature Superior Verandah Suite on the Navigation deck 8. The cabin was fine. Location was very convenient with easy access to all amenities, dining rooms and viewing areas. It was nice to be able to sit on our own balcony at any time. We were provided with extra blankets to use on the deck chairs and binoculers.
The bathroom was wonderful with two sinks and a separate shower. Only complaint was that the portable hair dryer kept over heating and had very little power.
Television selections were very limited ,but who watches TV on a cruise?
Ship tip
This is a nice, easy comfortable cruise. The ship was not crowded. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. I would have liked to have had more time at some of the ports. This cruise was a good deal and well worth the money.

Ports of call
We arrived in Seattle a day early to be sure that there weren't any delays. We did sight seeing on our own.we
We took a floatplane over 5 glaciers and it was amazing. We took a city bus part way up to the Mendenhall Glacier and walked the rest of the way which was about 1 1/2 miles.. We took alternative transportation back as we were worried that we might miss the ship.
Easy shuttle transportation to and from the ship. Sitka is a beautiful little town with a rich history. The Rapture Center was very interesting.
We loved Victoria and wished we had much more time. We hired a pedicab to tour the city. Our driver was wonderful and so informative. We will definitely be going back to visit this wonderful city.
Disembarkation
Everything went smoothly. We used Port Valet to handle our luggage and they were shipped straight through to our home destination.
