Review summary

This was our first cruise, and we went with my parents and our teen daughter. We had a great time! Overall, it was amazing!

THE PROS: The staff was amazing, always smiling and speaking to you, always ready to help with whatever you needed, and they even remembered our names!!! Everyone was very accommodating. My daughter was completely spoiled with room service :) Our room was perfect....loved the balcony! We had dinners in the Vista dining room, which was beautiful and had great food. The staff made a special effort to celebrate my parents' anniversary, bringing them cake and singing to them.

THE CONS: I wish we could have spent more time in the Alaskan towns. The Lido deck casual dining was way too crowded, hard to find a seat sometimes and lengthy lines. Mattress on the sofa sleeper was very uncomfortable.

The show on the first night seemed to have some kind of political agenda, which I didn't appreciate....but I really didn't get it, either, so maybe I am wrong about that! But all the others were really good. Especially liked the magician and the vocalist/impressionist.

Putu Budhi Artha and Wayan D made our dining so much fun....We only came across John Andrew a time or two, and he always remembered our names! Dodik and Dedik took very good care of our room. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.
