The BEST place to relax on this ship is the Solarium! Adults only, so NO kids..A GREAT way to spend a port day when most are off the ship!

Eat at Solarium Bistro to avoid crowds in Windjammer. Look at other tour providers (other than ship excursions) online before your trip to save big $ on tours. For example, ship booked tour for one island was $129 and purchased before trip through another provider was only $20. Same tour.

When in Falmouth, Jamaica- Transportation (taxi/van) prices are posted and fixed so there is no haggling to get to a beach or shopping area. The immediate food/shopping area at the pier is safe, the vendors did not exhibit any pushy selling tactics.

Reservations are required for all shows. You can make them on line or as soon as you get on the ship. They do have a wait line that opens up 5 minutes before each show, but some venues are so small (Frozen in Time) that you probably won't get in even if you stand in the wait line.

Love to have breakfast at Johnny Rockets. Sit outside and watch the zip liners go by. Not crowded either.

Spend the night at a decent hotel in Ft. Lauderdale and take a shuttle bus to the port, to avoid the "chaos" before check-in. Traffic was "nuts", and I'm glad we did not need to park ourselves after dropping our check-in bags. Also, check in as early as possible.

From MeetOnCruise iPhone App: Book all your shows online before the cruise. This is crucial or you may not get into some. Do not miss the aqua theater show. It is amazing. This ship and the Allure are UNBELIEVABLE! You will love it.

There are private quiet outdoor decks at the aft of the ship. Go through the hall way of the cabins all the way aft. Nice place.

Always try to book shows online, as well as tours. On this huge ship, the lines can be long at the concierge and services desk.

The in-stateroom TV has lots of info. Read it right away to lessen confusion and learn some things you will want to know. Be warned: ship photographers are EVERYWHERE on this boat. You cannot escape them. And of course, many of the day time "events" are nothing but sales hussles.

Make sure you book your shows as soon as possible BEFORE you sail. The venues fill up. Comedy shows have the smallest seating capacity and that is the first one th fill up. We booked early My Time Dining and late shows. Be kind to others…its not a race.

Skip the Windjammer buffet for breakfast - go the main dining room, either sit and order from the menu, if you have time, or just go through their buffet. Royal refreshment is worth the money, in addition to specialty coffee and etc., we would order virgin drinks with alcohol on the side.
