Great cruise marred by a horrible stateroom by jldake

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Oasis of the Seas

Cruise was nice, but too many people, and our room almost ruined the entire trip. Either our A/C was broken, or the balcony door was flawed, or both, but basically it was way too hot in the room, and no amount of tech visits could fix the issue. Then the A/C flooded part of the floor and they had to dry out the room. Customer service tried to find us other rooms, but as a family of 5, there was nothing available, as RC filled the boat to the brim. We would have even taken two interior rooms, but nothing was available. Also, room slept 5, but storage for 5 people was laughable. We've stayed in other balcony rooms and always made it work, but they cut the storage like in half. Same storage for 2 people as 5...room was a disaster!

Large ship but needs serious updates by Cruisefamily15

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Oasis of the Seas

You can tell this was a great ship in its day but it needs serious updates. Bathrooms were constantly out of order, rooms are small and furniture is dirty/broken. Late night food options were non existent outside of pizza and room service.

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Oasis of the Seas

Am sad to say that the couple we travel with was expose to Covid on the ship. I am angry and mad that I also got it, and never was compensated. Even though I wasnt feeling well, It was a great cruise.

Ok but had higher hopes by kwwhite27

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Oasis of the Seas

See review above. Note: due to fall weather we did hit choppy seas and had to forego taking advantage of the two sea days to play in the sun /pools etc. would not recommend this port departure in the fall is you are wanting sun and fun.

Nice getaway with family by MikefromMA

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Oasis of the Seas

It was a very reasonable cruise for three generation family getaway. Lots of options for different interests. Group ranged from first time cruiser to well seasoned cruisers. Internet worked well. Loyalty program is a joke. The perks are limited to one instance for the duration of the cruise. For instance the 50% off specialty coffee (excluding Starbucks) is limited to 50% off one cup of specialty coffee over the 7 day cruise ($2.25 one time). If they are going to be that restrictive, they should just eliminate the loyalty program. It is not a deal breaker, but very disappointing and not consistent with competitors. There used to be more drink specials, now only one drink of tHe day. If you are unable to reserve a show you want to see, just go stand in the wait line nearly everyone does get in. A group may not be able to sit together.

WOW!! by neeneehofer

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Oasis of the Seas

The ship was amazing, clean, lots to do and see. Staff were excellent and polite. This is my 6th or 7th cruise and this ship was just too big for my licking. It’s a great ship but way to many people for my licking.

Wonderful 7 nights on Oasis by DLM3377

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Oasis of the Seas

We Loved the cruise as always. We took first time cruises with us and they loved it too. They will surely cruise again. We stayed in a boardwalk balcony which was nice. We saved $500 and could see the Aqua show from our balcony as well the ocean.

Great Day Coco Cay by padickert47

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Oasis of the Seas

Next cruise I will go on a smaller ship and hope that things will be better but I thing that all of RC fleet have done the revamp of the main dining room so maybe it won't be any better.

Fantastic time! by pattiroy111

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple

Food was delicious, staff was fantastic, Coco Cay was beautiful, not much to do at Port Canaveral on or off ship. Excursions are expensive but plenty to choose from.

Overall, We enjoyed the cruise more while we were on the ship rather than the Florida, Cococay and Nassau. We loved the activities shows, food and the services on the ship. We love Oasis of the Seas. We are planning to go back to this cruise.
