Review summary

You can tell this was a great ship in its day but it needs serious updates. Bathrooms were constantly out of order, rooms are small and furniture is dirty/broken. Late night food options were non existent outside of pizza and room service.

Embarkation

3 out of 5
Embarkation was fast and easy

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Buffets were always over crowded and frequently out of certain items. Soda machines in the windjammer were out of order the entire time

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Lots of activities to choose from. Rock climbing, flowrider. Pools were well maintained. The abyss slide was very slow and the mats had a terrible odor

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Aqua theater is a must see, Latin music was great and nightly DJ’s played a great mix of songs

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Waiters were always friendly and helpful. Our steward was great and left us different towel animals every night. Guest services was also very helpful when we had to cancel our excursion due to weather

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Layout was great. Areas like Central Park were so relaxing and well kept. The boardwalk deck was very slippery and we saw many people get hurt The casino was a disappointment. Many machines were out of service and change machines were unavailable

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Very small. Too small for 3 people. We found someone else’s clothes under our bed, our couch was dirty and that also served as the third bed which was so uncomfortable. It also had a balcony overlooking the boardwalk which was very noisy at night making it difficult to sleep well

Ship tip

Bigger isn’t always better. I would opt for a newer ship even if it was a bit smaller
