It was ok, not impressed with the food at any of the locations we ate at except for the ones we had to pay extra for

Review summary

After cruising other ships such as Princess and Carnival I don't think I will do Royal Caribbean again. But I do hear third times a charm so who knows?

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Easy Peasy very streamed lined!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Very quick to take orders and delivery. Staff extremely kind, not a large selection to choose from and the food was just ok.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Lots of variety not one second of Boredom

Entertainment

Everything was sold out when we got on the ship Sunday

Children's Programs

no children

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everyone was extremely kind, attentive and understanding

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
very easy to get around, the design was so improved from the first time we cruised on the ship

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
A bit on the small side when you separate the King into a Twin. The coffee table took up too much room so we moved it out of the way. Beds were a bit hard and pillows gave me a headache every morning. In room movies cost $11.99 every time you watched one.

Ship tip

Be prepared for the extra expenses at the end of the cruise, we didn't receive our on board credits.

Ports of call

Nassau, Bahamas

2 out of 5
Couldn't find our excursion tour after the Port Ambassador called three times and they left us. Very laid back otherwise and not pushy to purchase anything, drinks expensive though!

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

4 out of 5
Had a wonderful time here plenty to do. Drinks were awesome. Very easy to get around with plenty of signs for directions. Food was better than on the ship!

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

3 out of 5
Too pushy at the Market BEWARE! They through things in your bag and literary grab you by the arm and drag you to their stalls. The excursion we went on to the Hatti Village and private beach was wonderful!!!! Small tour so very laid back! Drinks were very reasonable and no pushy vendors vendors. The Village was very interesting and informative .

Falmouth, Jamaica

5 out of 5
The Port is extremely easy to maneuver around, no pushy vendors and good prices they will haggle so you can get a better price than what is listed. Our excursion down the Martha Brea was fantastic so peaceful nd relaxing.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Very easy but we took our own luggage off the ship.

My wife and I have several cruises on both Carnival and RC and we wonder if there will be major differences with another cruise line...We're currently booked on Princess (1st time) to Alaska May 2024 (back to back. hope to learn something.
