Second time with RC and we were very pleased with most everything on the ship. Loved the Oasis and would be happy to sail on her again.

Super smooth getting on the ship. Showed up at our pre-chosen arrival time, went thru security, and we were on board within 30 minutes.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

*Windjammer buffet had decent food, but was pretty packed most often. *Main dining room was great food and service, (make sure to set up a time frame to avoid waiting in long lines later) *Park Cafe in Central park has great roast beef sandwiches for lunch *great beef hot dogs and brats at the boardwalk *Playmakers was a good sports bar with delicious onion rings *loved the starbucks stand in the promenade

Windjammer Cafe

Good was pretty good. Nothing that stands out. But always very busy so hard to find a seat sometimes.

Sorrento's Pizza

4 out of 5

Basic pizza (with several options available) and great place for a snack for those late night hunger pangs.

Johnny Rockets

5 out of 5

Good milkshakes, fun atmosphere, but best part is they offer a complimentary breakfast. (great little gem that most don't know about)

Starbucks

5 out of 5

Great having this option on the ship

Playmakers℠ Sports Bar & Arcade

5 out of 5

Great place to catch up on the games and sports. Good food and great atmosphere.

Park Cafe

5 out of 5

Open throughout the day with good food that's slightly different then the rest of the ship (which is a nice change of pace)

El Loco Fresh℠

4 out of 5

This food was just ok I'm my opinion. Basic but always busy.

Boardwalk Dog House

Delicious all beef hot dogs made to your liking! Plus it's complimentary 😃

Onboard Activities

Had fun with everything, I loved the ultimate abyss slide (not as fast as it looks, and a great way to get down several decks). Loved the silent discos and out kids had less of fun with the rock climbing wall. Water slides were fun and polls refreshing. Always something to do

Flowrider

My daughter's loved trying this. The people working their were very helpful and patient in teaching people what to do if they were newbies. We did it at night which was kinda cool

Rock Climbing Wall

Family loved trying this activity. ♥️

Center Ice Rink

Amazing the tricks they can preform on such a small rink. Very impressive

Carousel

My daughter would ride this over and over again. Was a big highlight of her trip

Boardwalk

Loved the feel of this neighborhood. Part arcade, part coney island, part sports, all fun

Entertainment

The 80s aqua show is a MUST see. AMAZING.... saw it 3 times. The ice show was our second favorite (but loved the sand drawings more during the mid point of the ice show. The one sky was good but wouldn't see again. Most things need a reservation but there are standby lines so most often no problem getting in.

AMAZING!! Saw their 80S show 3 times and couldn't get enough

Children's Programs

Our daughter is 11 so she was on the 6 to 12 year old club. She didn't like it much. Felt like it was too loud from the younger ones so sensory overload for her. Went once and that was it.

Service and Staff

Everyone working the ship was awesome. They don't get enough credit for all the work they have to do.

Ship Quality

Beautiful ship! With 6k people on board never felt that way, except when visiting the Windjammer buffet.

Cabin / Stateroom

Loved the location and view over central park. Room size and was snug for 4 people, but we made do. Not a lot of storage (especially for 4 people's worth of clothing). Bathroom was small too, water never hot but luke warm, and no outlets. Room temperature was not super cold so we asked for a fan. Biggest issues were limited plugs (one at vanity and one under bed, so hard to get to). Also, vanity light never was bright, rather a low yellow glow (so used bathroom more to get ready). We opened the couch for a pullout bed so made walk around room very tight. But we weren't in room much so it worked for the most part.

Ship tip

Book your dining reservations first, then plan shows around that

Ports of call

Nassau, Bahamas

Typical marketplace, going outside the main fence you will get hassled a bit to buy things and do excursions (like most places)

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

5 out of 5
So much to do but you don't have to spend a cent of you don't want to. We hung at the pool and beach, and food is included 😃.

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

4 out of 5
Our second favorite stop. RC is still building this stop up, but very similar to coco cay. We hung at the beach and food is also included. There is more hassling from locals to buy things so a bit more rustic feel. But still nice.

Falmouth, Jamaica

We only hit the ships right off the ship. Found our rum cream, couple shirts, then back to the ship.

Disembarkation

Super simple...... put our bags out night before, had to be out of our room by 8am, and were off the ship within 30 minutes (including grabbing our luggage, going through customs and getting to transposition). I will say it's a bit crazy once outside because everyone is looking for a ride somewhere. We were getting an Uber, but overall nothing bad at all.
