Honestly, when we had ship days, we just used the lounge chairs and walked around. We really didn't use the pools, etc.

There were two nights when we literally had nothing to do as our shows were scheduled for the other four nights. The shows we attended were great, especially the Aqua show and ice show. We had absolutely zero interest in Cats, but we did try it. We lasted about 10 minutes...it's just too weird and disturbing for us.

Our cabin was very clean and in good shape. The storage was adequate. It was a comfortable room and we slept well. Enjoyed having the balcony.
Ship tip
Just relax and enjoy. Things won't be perfect, but the fact that you're on a cruise ship is more than enough to be grateful for. Also, after many years of cruising and selecting "my time" or "your time" dining, we finally realized the service and experience is much better with seated dining. You have the same table, servers, and there is no long wait. Definitely going that route in the future.
We haven't been here since way before they converted it from CoCo Cay to Perfect Day at Coco Cay. I think it was 2012! Anyhow, it was wonderful, and we cannot wait to go again!
I was disappointed that we booked a fairly expensive excursion through Resort For A Day thinking our hours in port were 9:00 - 5:00 as that was what was listed on our itinerary. Turns out it was 10:30 - 3:30, which really cut into our time at the resort and we felt rushed...and also nervous about getting back to the ship on time. The resort we went to was great, though (Iberostar Rose Hall Suites, Jamaica).
