We have enjoyed many cruises. Royal Caribbean at the top. This was a very large ship, largest we have crushed on. Probably go with a smaller vessel in the future. Food was great, not exceptional. Alcohol drinks too expensive, plus 18% gratuity every drink questionable.

Food and Dining
3 out of 5
Requested early seating, didn’t receive, had to go with open, called to schedule early, every time earliest wa 8 pm. Dining staff did as good as possible, but we confused at times where to seat us. Really don’t understand concept of specialty restaurants, didn’t use, if we paying for a luxurious cruise as we have for over 40 years, you’re kinda telling me the food you’ll be eating in the main dining room is good, pay more and it will be a lot better. Buffets okay, nothing great.

Ship tip
Really book the dinner time you want to eat. If you don’t like the table guests, request another table. We like dining at the same time, the waiter, bus boy know your dining needs, and want to accommodate you.
Sounds like you have never sailed on a mega ship before, 40 years of cruising, on what? Some of the older folks don't like the size and the amount of walking involved with these larger vessels. I did enjoy this ship and also the sisters in class. As for the dinning all you have to do is show up to the open seating early and it's no problem getting a table. I did this with a party of 4 and there was NO problem. As far as entertainment, that is pretty easy on a ship this size, as there is always something going on. Good class of ship to be on, so cruise without fear. JUST REMEMBER: it's all down hill from here, they only get smaller, so it depends on your cruising preference, enjoy your next cruise folks.
