Review summary

This was our 23rd Anniversary cruise. We enjoyed everything the Oasis has to offer. This was indeed the best cruise experience we have had. We have cruised with Norwegian and Carnival in the past.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Embarkation was a little slow and at some point was at a standstill. But ofcourse security checks are very necessary.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
I enjoyed foods in the MDR, Windjammer, Park Cafe, Boardwalk Dog House, Solarium Bistro, Sorrento's, Cafe Promenade, Giovanni's, Chops & 150 Central Park. Loved them all! The specialty Restaurants were amazing!

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Loved the Fitness Center although we only visited once.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Loved all the shows! Saw Come Fly With Me, Adult Comedy shows, Oasis of Dreams (Aqua Show), Frozen in Time, and the Headliner show with some amazing jugglers called the Passing Zone.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our stewardess Ann Marie wasvthe best. Always courteous and did a great job on our cabin twide daily. Room service was good (there is a $7.95 charge for room service). Overall the customer service throughout was exceptional.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
This is the first Oasis class ship we have sailed on & it is best we've ever sailed.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We were in room 8321 aft. Loved the cabin. You can actually watch Oasis of Dreams right from your balcony.

Ship tip

There are a lot of places to get a quick bite at other than the Windjammer. There is Park Cafe, Boardwalk Dog House, Solarium Bistro, Sorrehhtos, Cafe Promenade & Wipeout Cafe.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

5 out of 5
Was only here long enough to board ship and pick up a rental. Can't truly give a review on Port Canaveral but we spent a few nights in Orlando and it was nice.

Nassau, Bahamas

5 out of 5
Nassau is always nice to us but make sure you do an excursion. Our first time there we did the Atlantis excursion. Had a great time drinking aroundvthe pool. Our last trip with did a resort day pass at Hilton- British Colonial. Great place on the beach with good food & drinks.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

4 out of 5
St. Thomas was a decent port. You might want to book a good excursion here. We took a cab ride to Magens Bay and was a little disappointed in that beach.

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

5 out of 5
We loved St Maarten/St Martin. I the island is only 37 square miles and the is still a lot of damage from the hurricane but they are rebuilding. We did a tour with Bernard Tours (Daniel was our guide) here and learned so much about the Dutch side & the French side. Amazing tour! We also stopped at Cisco's Delicacy for lunch at had the best Jerk chicken.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
We opted to carry our own luggage off and it was easy peasy.

Happy anniversary. Bernard Tours was great. Gave a good overview of island so next trip we will go around unescorted.
