Review summary

Overall, we really enjoyed this cruise. I would probably prefer not to go on such a large ship in the future, but the amenities can't be beat. However, running such a large operation, seemed to make the service suffer.

Embarkation

we were in the first group and total from security, to check in to getting onboard was about 1 hour.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
I thought the cocktails were weak, the food was average.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Trivia by Ana & Prince were great!

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Shows were really good but sometimes hard to follow what the message was. Pops in the park was nice after a long day to relax to.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Waiters for the most part did their job and did not go above and beyond. Our stateroom attendant also did not give us towel animals until the few nights which was disappointing.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Considering how big the ship is and how many people are aboard, I felt like the areas were clean and maintained.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Great view of central park and did not interrupt sleep at night. Size was perfect since we weren't in there much more than to sleep and shower.

Ports of call

Nassau, Bahamas

3 out of 5
I've been here twice before and again was not impressed. The Essential Nassau excursion was really good, our guide has a tight script, but stayed on time.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

4 out of 5
DId not stay long at the port. DId the kayak, hike, snorkel excursion which was really great, guide knew a lot about the local nature.

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

5 out of 5
This was the best port of the three. Seems to have been revamped since the hurricanes and was very clean. Lots of great shops for jewelry, duty free and local gifts. Did the rhum & beach break excursion which was a lot of fun. Rhum tour was funny and was nice to relax at the beach afterwards. Service at beach bar was terrible. After 20 minutes from ordering, had to go to the bar to pay & retrieve our order as the server seemed busy/distracted.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Extremely quick and easy for self-serve.
