Review summary

Oasis is a beautiful ship. Being one of the largest in the world it never feels crowded. The most people I saw together was only at the muster drill. The crew members have a can do attitude regarding anything.

We stayed in a Jr Suite which is very nice and provides a great balcony large enough for 2 lounge chairs and a bistro table and 2 chairs.

The restaurants both complimentary and specialty are all nice.

150 Central Park is by far the nicest cruise ship restaurant. The tasting menu changes mid week giving you an opportunity to dine there twice.

Additionallt Jr Suite guests may book 2 dinners in the Coastal Lounge Resurant on the 17th deck. This area is only available to those booking grand suites and higher. A great way to try the amenity without booking a larger suite. But makes it tempting to book a class higher. Superb service and upper scale wine list.

Royal Caribbean does a great job

only comment about the ship is its beginning to look a little worn in the common areas , carpet etc. we cruised on it 3 years ago and I notice it's in need of a little refresher

Specious room and balcony, lots of storage area, seating area can be separated to enjoy ocean view without feeling like you are sitting in your bedroom. Great location on ship. I thought it would be too low but it's mid ship and easy walking to restaurants and the spa and fitness center is on this deck.

Ship tip

Book shows early Eat at 150 Central Park Have a cocktail on the High Tide the bar that moves every half hour from the 6th to the 8th deck center ship

Ports of call

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

Bigger than it looks. Ship provides buffet on land. Enjoy the day on the beach or doing water sports. Nice walking as well

Falmouth, Jamaica

We call it Fauxmacia, (fake Jamacia). Royal Caribbean had to create a cute little Disneyesque walled in area of shops and restraints. Otherwise I can't imagine why anyone would get off the ship. One you leave the walls police disappear and not many people h beyond. Just not safe feeling

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
We scuba dive here so we love Cozumel and feel very safe walking along the water all the way into town(2.5 miles each way) great if you are feeling ambitious. Plenty of little bars along the water on the route so you can stop in for a cold one at any time. Still has an older feel and not completely built up. But a great place to get off the ship

How was the food in Coastal Kitchen? Was planning on eating there a few dinners and lunches but heard it wasn't that great.

We just upgraded to a junior suite. So excited!

That's what I thought - but would hate to see an rccl vague rule!

The website says dinner only for junior suite. It says nothing about any limit

Thinking of js upgrade, because of Coastal access for dinner.Have not seen anything about 2x dinning .Anyone else experience?

Thanks. We have not been on her since she was here for the very first cruise. Going in December. Glad to hear you like her.
