Review summary

The Oasis of the seas is  the perfect family cruise ship destination.  The ship is perfect for all ages.  The food was wonderful.  Chops Grille is awesome.  the kids had a great time on board.  We loved Labadee.  Definitely experience the zip-line.  While it is expensive it is a lot of fun. The entertainment was very good.  Are only complaint is the Cats is not a very good musical.  Nothing against the performers as they did a wonderful job.  The show itself is not very good.

I've not read one good comment about Cats on here. Why on earth does RC keep it? They should change it to something more people would enjoy. As a former theater major I can't imagine what the performers must think when half the audience leaves by intermission. How sad.

Cats is horrid, the only reason it ran so long in New York was because of Japanese tourists.

Thank you for your review, I will be on her in a short 15 days with the same stops! I can't wait.

My daughter is so excited lol. She's been talking about this trip everyday for the last 2 weeks

Thanks @robert85! We'll be on the same cruise! Someone mentioned that to me too -- my parents died 5 years ago and my in-laws have no interest in helping (we actually invited them on our cruise. They turned around and booked a different cruise). We also really enjoy hanging out with our daughter and all of us are looking forward to uninterrupted time together

That's awful. Vacations are for family.

robert85    8 years ago

I've been told several times by fellow cruisers to "just leave them with grandma," I wouldn't tell them how they should vacation or really what they should do in general. We happen to enjoy vacationing as a family. This will be my 3 yr olds second cruise. Your 5 year old will have a blast lots to do for them.

My worry too @robert85. We're bringing our 5 year old

Parents should never be shamed for bringing kids...unless they're not taking care of them.

robert85    8 years ago

Good to hear since we are bringing a 3 year old. We see a lot of parent shaming for parents that bring young kids on the ship.

Not my fav either.

Did you watch the entire performance?

I thought that when I saw cats on Broadway.
