I liked the size and design of the Sun. Our room was incredibly quiet - loved that. What I didn’t like was loud, filthy construction going on right next to areas where passengers were vacationing. There were workers using jack hammers to remove flooring from the sun deck - right next to basketball court and right over a bar and dining tables. Several deck areas were closed. We were not notified about construction prior to the cruise. The ship was full of college spring break cruisers yet the ship was severely under staffed. We frequently waited over 20 minutes to get a drink at the bars - bartenders were working very hard, there just weren’t enough of them. We had at least 3 dinners where we waited over an hour for food to arrive after placing our order - and we were not eating at peak times. I have been on 3 other NCL cruises and had no issues but this one shows NCL is cutting a lot of corners.
