Review summary

Our favorite part of the cruise was the route taken and all of the friendly people from the staff in the dining rooms and specialty restaurants, to the bartenders, to Joanne who took care of us in our stateroom.  We enjoyed each port that we stopped in with plenty of activities.  We are planning on taking the same cruise in a few years!

This was our first time in a stateroom with a balcony; we will never go back to an inside cabin again!

Ports of call

Seward (Anchorage), Alaska

Try to fly in a few days early and either drive to Homer or drive to Denali.

Icy Strait Point (Hoonah), Alaska

We had a full day in Hoonah with bear viewing in the morning and in the afternoon we went on a whale watching tour. Both tours were fabulous and have great pictures and videos!

Cruise Sawyer Glacier

Vancouver (Canada Place), British Columbia

When we disembarked from the cruise ship we took the train to the airport. It was a nice way to see the city of Vancouver and very inexpensive way to get to the airport.
