Lots of activities and the cruise through the inside passage was beautiful.

Review summary
We really enjoyed the on board entertainment and the overall environment on the ship. The cruise staff was very friendly and helpful but not always as organized as they needed to be. When we went through Glacier Bay it was cold as we expected it to be but all the dining rooms ran out of cups, hot chocolate and coffee and everyone wanted a hot beverage. There was supposed to be a ice sculpting demo but we did not know (nor did the cruise staff that was also waiting) that it was canceled until 20 minutes after it was to start.
We thought we would like the Freestyle dining but we did not. The food was the same in all the dining rooms with just some minor differences. Example: one might have steak with mashed potatoes while the other had steak with veggies. We dined one night in one of the specialty restaurants and the food was good but not a lot of choices. It was not like other cruises that I have been on where you can find food anytime. anywhere. You had to look for a midnight snack at the sports bar, the cafeteria was not always open. The food was probably the biggest disappointment on the cruise.
The scenery was awesome and they brought aboard park rangers to talk about Glacier Bay and we really enjoyed that. We went to the Lumberjack Show in Ketchican and it was a good, fun show.
If I was to go to Alaska again I would probably take another cruise line that more fits our style of cruising but we had a good time and will probably do it again!
