Review SummaryNCL Sun was a wonderful way to spend our spring break. No contact with anyone from home! No worries. Staff was always polite and smiling. Our room was nice and clean. It is beginning to show its age a little bit but still would plan to come back and sail again. Shower is a bit small but for the amount of time spent showering, why should I complain!?! Dining choices were excellent. We took advantage of several of the upscale restuarants. My favorites were Teppenyaki and Ginza. Also ate at Le Bistro, the Brazillian steakhouse, and Italian restuarants. Also went to the muder mystery dinner....great fun! We booked all of our dining selections as soon as we boarded.
In Guatemala, we chose the Rio Dulce and Livingston tour. Great tour. Especially the river portion. Livingston was unique. We strolled around town and then went to the hotel overlooking the bay. If you do not speak Spanish, there will be a language barrier but the menus are printed in both Spanish and English. Try the fruit smoothies. Yum! And all fruit!
In Belize, we went on the Cave Tubing and Rainforest trek. Great. And refreshing. Lunch was included and delicious!
We have been to Cozumel and Key West several times so we did not do an organized tour in either of these places but the choices for shore excursions were numerous and diverse.
Would definitely recommend this trip! And would take it again!
