7 Night Western Caribbean (Port Canaveral Roundtrip)
Sail Date: March 19, 2011
Ship: Norwegian Sun
Cabin Type: Oceanview
Traveled As: Family (older children)
Reviewed: 6 years ago
The crew was friendly and hard-working. The ship was pleasant and clean, but only had basic amenities.

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Food is not as good as your average local restaurant. My home cooking is better.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Some evenings the main shows were too adult rated for tween children, even the 7:30 pm shows.

Service and Staff

Ship Quality

Adding a rock-climbing wall would be nice

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Stateroom size and storage were perfectly adequate for 2 travelers. They do need better hairdryers, though.

Amazing clear turquoise water!
Don't Miss: Beach/snorkeling

Don't Miss: Mayan Ruins

Don't Miss: Museums- Hemingway House, White House, Aquarium, Mel Fisher, etc.

It's an industrial port, so either book a shore excursion or stay on the ship.
Don't Miss: None

Pros: Just cruising the open ocean

Cons: Food
