Review summary
We had cruised on NCL before on a different ship, and frankly, the cruise staff seemed a bit more involved and accessible on the previous ship, but this cruise was still excellent. The variety of dining and excursion experiences was very nice, and the ports were all good (though we are a little tired of ALWAYS having to go to Cozumel every cruise, it seems...). The embarkation and disembarkation processes were extremely smooth and the staff on shore and aboard the ship very helpful and welcoming to us. Perhaps a few more active onboard activities would have been nice, but we enjoyed our time very much as it was. We both needed a huge break and this trip certainly provided that for us.Ports of call

Pros: freestyle cruising! variety of dining, excellent excursion selection
Cons: On-board costs of cruising seem to be continuing to rise to almost ridiculous amounts
Recommends Norwegian Sun? Yes!
