Great Cruise except for the Tendering in 3 ports, otherwise love the port stops

This cruise was to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary! It was a spectacular cruise with very special memories! Our butler John was exceptional!!!

Super good time. Best time to go I will say is end of September to 1st week of October.

Group of 12 from Australia and Englan d....Did the cruise around the Greek islands leaving venice to protestors. Beware if you get cabins 11115 /11117 and 11119...noise from restaurant above from 10pm until 4am....ship was full so could not move cabins , but onboard credit and ear plugs did help a bit....would I said NCL again ? Probably , but not on the star as the week previous we did NCL epic and found the service to be much better.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite and this was great option for our family. I have 2 kids, 4 and 7, and having the extra space and fun extras like afternoon cookies made the vacation all the better. The kids absolutely loved the kids club program and even though we went in the off season during regular school there were still plenty of other kids and fun activities. It is an amazing thing when you're kids are having so much fun they ask to go to the kids programs and you and your husband have extra time together! All the ports were beautiful and the weather was great. I only wish we had more time to spend in Dubrovnik. I recommend doing a cruise excursion there because the time is so short it just gives extra piece of mind. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because we often had to wait over an hour for food in the main dining rooms. Not sure why this is, and we were never in a hurry, but the wait time was noticeable.

We are a family of 4 (14 and 12 year olds) from Australia and we all enjoyed the cruise. We loved the almost daily port visits which is a contrast to the South Pacific cruises where you might go 3 days at sea. The food was good (not great). Cabin service very friendly. The passengers were generally from USA, UK and China. A good mix. Only a few kids/teenagers which was a shame for us but really you're at ports everyday so no big deal.

Beautiful ship! Beautiful suite! Absolutely wonderful crew!! We had the owner’s suite 10506. The best suite we have had so far. The ship is completely refurbished and gorgeous.

After returning from a very good Ncl cruise we were very apprehensive after reading some of the reviews. The star is an excellent ship , yeah there are some minor issues but really nothing to put anyone off . I found some reviews to be a bit unfair and off putting but I will definitely travel with them again if only to see the wonderful team on board they cannot do enough for you work tirelessly to make your holiday fantastic a bit of come and go and understanding goes a long way

Since this is pretty hot very day. NCL will welcome you back with cold water plus cold towel. Very good services. The food at the restaurants are pretty salty and is not for most old people like me. Compare to the last NCL Gateway trip at Northern Europe, I have not even see a large shrimp on any meal which is a bit disappointed. BTW beware of pick pocket at the bus station in Venice. They work as a team, women and children and they are professional.

Just got back from the cruise and could not fault it. The crew were fantastic, the food was great 👍the itinery was just spot on. The ship was nice and the cabin was very comfortable and spacious. Booking now for next year. Love nci would not go with any other cruise line. Lesley and malc.

We sailed from Venice to the Greek Isles. This was a wonderful trip and all the ports were amazing. Needed more room for the swimming pools. The one day we were at sea you couldn't get anywhere close to the pool. If you wanted to pay extra, you could use other pools.

Best cruise so far. Loved the suite. Excursions were incredible. NCL Star dance group is excellent. Love the smaller ship. Greek food to die for. Visit Croatia before hordes of tourists completely over-run this beautiful country.

We love NCL and we keep booking because we like entertainment and how they treat us.

The overall cruise was ok. The problem I had and maybe I am nit picking hear. The ship went into refit earlier in the year. Even after telling my cabin steward and maintenance that my door had screws slide out there was 1 or 2 screws holding the door guts and lock to the door. Maintenance was told. Other than this. It was a ok cruise. But for the amount of money I spent I think I will go back to Princess.

Overall this was a great cruise. We really enjoyed the ship and our stateroom. The ports were all fantastic, it was sad to miss Kotor, Montenegro, but we understand the circumstances. This was our 2nd cruise with NCL and we look forward to our next one!

Great until woman went overboard and the whole ship was caused a big inconvenience. Time we were told will arrive was not correct after many reboooked plans and still further delays to cause more Tyrion interruptions $$$$$

The overall cruise was good. It was very hot and humid. The food good. Now because we had a person "fall/jump" overboard on the last night, that was the true test of how the ships crew did. This was an epic fail for the passengers who were impacted by this. There was little assistance to helping people make other arrangements with hotel and flights. There were very few phones to use to try to call out, and many people were not able to call. They also charged $5.00 minute. Gave 15 minutes free wi fi, but took longer to get into website. They offered no compensation of additional expenses. So hopefully they will train crew better in assisting frazzled guests.

Someone jumped overboard and our return to port was approximately 8 hours late. The Cruiseline set up a small bank of computers to use in a room to make travel and hotel changes, and only gave 15 minutes of internet time to those using their own computers. Phone communication was "iffy" at best. Some could get connected but most couldn't. Wifi connectability and speed were "very poor" at best, and cost too high.

Not the best cruise experience. Too Americanised. Money more important than service

We really had an excellent time as a family spending time together. There wasn't too much to do at each port. The ports were beautiful and some people may be able to find many activities that they enjoy. Some might enjoy looking at old forts and churches. We enjoyed how beautiful and unique each port was.
