Review summary

Since this is pretty hot very day. NCL will welcome you back with cold water plus cold towel. Very good services. The food at the restaurants are pretty salty and is not for most old people like me. Compare to the last NCL Gateway trip at Northern Europe, I have not even see a large shrimp on any meal which is a bit disappointed. BTW beware of pick pocket at the bus station in Venice. They work as a team, women and children and they are professional.

beware of pick pocket at the bus station in Venice. They are porfessional and a team of women and children

it is a small city 5 min from the port. No need for excrusion

i did not join excrusion. There is a city bus waiting at the port terminal. 1.75 euro to city center and the bus driver will provide the change. Enter the fortress is 12 euro. If you do not take the bus going back, it is about 20 min walk.

join a excrusion and it will bring you from the port up the hill and to Oia. This is one of the most beautiful town in this Greece island. The tour will end at the top of the hill and you will need to line up over an hour to take the cable car. Or you can ride the donkey down for 6 euros and walk down 20 min

did not take the excrusion either. The cruise will anchor near the old city center where you will drop off by the boat to the pier. Very nice small town to walk around and shopping

take an excrusion and they will drive you to 3 spots. One at a bridge nearby, one up the hill and another at the middle of the hill. All 3 spots are for different view of this beautiful city. Then finally drop you off at this small, wall surround city. Walk up the stone wall is 30 euros. Since we had the excursion from NCL, we can take the shuttle bus provided by NCL back to the port. Or buy the two way shuttle bus tickets from NCL for US$15. The 3rd choice is by foot which is over 30 min
