A very busy itinerary but the weather was good and we got to see, do and experience a lot. Would highly recommend this cruise especially for anyone who likes to be busy. Beds were comfortable after a long day. A lot of good memories from this ship.

12 cruise Italy and the Greek Islands cruise plus we also visited other Mediterranean Ports such as Cannes, Kotor & Dubrovnik. It was a Fantastic itinerary! We saw & did so much! the ship was perfect for such a port intensive cruise. Not to big, we did not have a long wait to embark or debark the ship. Great & Caring Staff, Delicious Food, Good Entertainment, the Best Mojitos!!!!

Too many ships going to the same ports at the same time

We loved the star, the ship size and the experience. Tarragona and disembarkation was a nightmare. I hope they have learned from this experience.

I traveled with my husband and another couple. We all agreed that it was the best cruise ever, and we have been on many. The Star was newly refurbished and really beautiful. The food and entertainment were outstanding. Do not be mislead by other negative reviews. It. Is impossible to please everyone.

Has the cruise is concerned it has been very pleasant. I do not accept the fact that a company like Norwegian has left its customers without any alternative to go to Barcelona. Simple, bus from the port to Tarragona or Barcelona train station at $ XX and booking on the ship. For this reason I will not recommand or book and other cruise with Norwegian because they are not reliable.

Great cruise as our first time experience crossing the Atlantic.

good, not great. Missing the smaller details. Not enough salad dressing. No food available at certain times. Service too slow. Overbooked restaurant reservations.

Took my mom on her first cruise and she had the best time, i think i just got her hooked.

We live NCL free style. Purchased two certificates for future cruise.

Great Cruise, the entertainment could have been better, and we don't prefer the layout of this ship.

We had a good time even though my husband is fight stage 4 cancer, he had good and bad days. We are looking forward to going for our next cruise 2020

Since this was our first cruise we didn't really know what to expect, but it was really a perfect way to visit places and have the possibility to go to your cabin to have a nap or just change to your bathing suit.

We really enjoyed ourselves and would do this cruise again. The canal was spectacular and the ports of call were beautiful spots.

A very basic cruise to introduce newbies and slobs to cruising, but don't expect a first (or even second) class experience. This is our third cruise on NCL. The first two were fine. We went on a Funship a year back and thought that was bad, but with this cruise, NCL pales in comparison. In rating our 10+ cruise experience, this falls in the bottom 10%. There are many better alternatives.

Overall I really liked it . Will definitely do another cruise but with another line to compare.

Cruised on the Star in March 2019 and ended up with bed bug bites on last day. We were very disappointed and frustrated by the lack of care, knowledge and thoughtfulness of the Guest Relations staff who responded to our case. These bites of course ruined our vacation, and we then had 2 extremely stressful weeks afterwards at home, worried we had brought bed bugs home with us (we slept in a tent, bought pesticides and bed bug traps, etc.). The initial response was basically, sorry this happened but we checked the room and it seems fine. I sent pictures of my arm to show that I wasn't dreaming this up. I wasn't covered in bites so there wasn't an infestation and a couple of bugs could easily hide, if the people who answered us knew anything about bed bugs. We've done a ton of research and know a bit now. They can hide in pockets and easily get transferred from one place to another, so if the Star has had any reports of bed bugs, then they could have ended up in our room. Because we were treated with such a lack of care, we are sad to say that we no longer want to sail with Norwegian and they were our favorite cruise line. All we were asking for was our Cruise Next deposit back and were refused any compensation for our trouble. This is not how you run a business and treat your customers. We have taken 4 cruises and spent at least $12,000 total with this company. We feel we deserve at least our deposit back minus what was credited to our onboard credit; this would total to $250. How much trouble would it be for Norwegian, that is worth billions of dollars, to give a customer a small $250 refund for a bad experience and ruined cruise? We tried to reopen our case and heard nothing from them.
