Very smooth process to get off the ship, but we were also staying in a suite that offered an escort off the ship. However, it is an industrial port that is not meant for cruises. There were only10 taxis available and 2500 people disembarking at the time. Also, you were not allowed to walk out of the port so you had to wait in line for hours to get a taxi. It took Norwegian about three to four hours to find a solution for this. Their solution was to rent buses to get everyone off the port. I was able to get a taxi within an hour since I was one of the first ones out, but I’m not sure how long the others had to wait and whether there was a cost associated with the buses.
