Review summary

I had great expectations for this trip but my experience was not pleasant at all due to the noise problem in our room. Unfortunately I didn't even have the option to leave the cruise because we were in the middle of the ocean. I still have like 4 next cruise deposits to use in the future but I would need to forget all the inconveniences of this trip to decide take another cruise with NCL soon.

The cabin itself was good. The problem was a noise coming from a machinery underneath our cabin. We were told it was due to some kind of equipment on the pantry area that was located underneath our room. As the ship was full they couldn't relocate us.

Ship tip

Make sure you won't book room 5122 or any other room over that area.

Disembarkation

NCL did not make any arrangements for buses to take the guests to the city. Only those going to the airport. This Tarragona port is a cargo port, for that reason there was not taxis service at the port and the taxis were stopped at the entrance of the port because they needed some kind of authorization to get inside. For that reason there was a huge line of more of 100-150 people waiting for taxis. We waited for more than one hour out there in a very cold and windy weather. I personally got sick due to this situation.

I'm sure that I would have slept right through it. I could fall asleep during a loud movie. Amazing that some ear plugs could make the difference between a good and bad cruise.

Too bad about the room issue. I take a small pair of earplugs when I cruise. Not sure if that would have helped on that ship. The issue about taxis and the dock, that really surprises me.
