Review summary

they would be much better cutting out one port and spending more time in each of the others. also we should never be in a port like santorini with 4 other ships. that small port cannot handle those crowds. made it an awful experience for everyone. Do not recommend this cruise

Embarkation

4 out of 5
got on ship very quickly. organized

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
drinks were great, food was not good and service was abysmal in Aqua. everything was repetitive. Nice buffet on pool deck but exact same every day. Dining room had beef dishes with different names but really same each day. squeezed our group into tables too small for us

Onboard Activities

1 out of 5
very few activities, no real competitions, nothing like a rock wall or other things for physical activity

Entertainment

1 out of 5
awful except acrobats

Service and Staff

1 out of 5
wait and hostess staff in Aqua was awful. one night ordered then sat for full hour - nothing. waitress finally came by and asked if we needed anything - every water glass was empty, every wine glass was empty and we still did not have appetizers. totally awful !!

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
ship was ok == definitely older. had water pipe burst in one of our rooms

Cabin / Stateroom

1 out of 5
was extremely small. have had inside cabins on other cruiselines and they were MUCH larger. not even a small sofa or sitting area. entire desk area was taken up by refrigerator being on top of it. poor design

Ship tip

Eat most of your meals at O'Sheehans. only good meal on ship

Ports of call

Venice, Italy

5 out of 5
love venice. did an oustanding tour on our own (privately booked)

Kotor, Montenegro

4 out of 5
nice - did private tour on a boat.

Corfu, Greece

3 out of 5
was in port way too short. did trip to beach - could only stay about an hour before had to get back to ship

Santorini, Greece

1 out of 5
beautiful port but SOOOOOOO crowded and disorganized. tenders were awful - were were group 6 and took us a couple hours to get off ship

Mykonos, Greece

2 out of 5
also way too crowded, really not much to see (which was good since we were only in port a few hours )

Argostoli, Kefalonia, Greece

3 out of 5
beautiful but again in port way too short to see very much

Dubrovnik, Croatia

4 out of 5
favorite port - great private game of throwns tour. but again, in port way too short

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
off quickly and easily

Always check CruiseTT.com to see how many other ships are in the ports you are visiting when booking a cruise. If you have flexibility on the dates, leaving at another time may mean the difference between sharing a port with 4-5 other ship or being the only ship in port. It’s also a good idea to check the port times for an itinerary before booking. The itinerary you were on appears to have had extremely short port times at most of the stops.
