Our shore experiences were great. Sorry we missed Kotor. NCL is ok but not my favorite. I feel they miss some of the small details that other cruise lines do better. Example - Pool towels are in your room but we had to take them off the cart since they were never left in our room. If you want room service it costs you money!

Main dining room was generally good. Was surprised that menus did not have more variety. Lunch menu from first and third day on board were identical. Buffet was good especially for fresh eggs in the morning. The Irish restaurant was mixed. Set to open at 11:30 for lunch and no waiters scheduled until noon!

Enjoyed the spa thermal center that we paid extra to have access.
Entertainment

Singer and dancers were very good but the other shows were mixed. I would say one of the main shows was outstanding and the other two were okay.
Service and Staff

It was mixed. About half were great but as an example our room steward chatted with us the first two days and then we never saw her again. Asked to be seated in a particular area of the Irish restaurant and were denied but others were seated there a few minutes later.
Carried off our luggage, got a taxi to the train station (30 euro, it should be less but everyone wants the big fare into Rome), 2 train tickets to Rome (10 euro) and a taxi to the hotel (17 euro)
