Review summary

Overall, this being our third NCL cruise with a family of ten,it was quite good,Having cruised on newer ships and being in the Haven we constantly compared and found things which fell short of our expectations,By our knowledge we got the service which should have been provided.Case in point,You didn't asked for comments of our Disembarkation.Thats where NCL stepped up and provide us with excellent service. They provided me with a wheel chair and guide to take me and my family to where you get the water taxi to our hotel. This helped all of us a lot.

Embarkation

NCL did not have enough people to handle the process. We had priority embarkation and I had requested wheel chair service.Twice we were directed to the wrong lines and then directed to the prioriy area.I requested 4 times for a wheel chair and only got it till we had arrived at the piority area.During this confusion we had been directed away from the proper check in.This created a whole SANFU and spent that day ironing it out with the concierge and guest sevices desk aboard ship.Their was alot of finger pointing who was at fault.Fact is we are the customer and didn't receive the proper service. In the end it was all handled.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

Cagney's had to service Modermo which brought down Cagney's, which we found to be the best restaurant on most of the other NCL ships.

Service and Staff

Having a suite we had breakfast and lunch in Modermos and Cagney's.The staff and waiters were excellent.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
We had suite 12030 and every morning and sometimes evening, the foot steps of joggers on the jogging path above our room became a nuisance.NCL closes down the curve part of the track from 7pm-9am which re-routes the joggers up the stairs to go around the front of the ship and down the stairs on the other side to create a problem over most of the suites in that area.

Cabin / Stateroom

Would have been excellent except for the jogging problem.Very large and loved the large glass wall to view the sights.Liked it instead of a balcony.Plus bath tub with shower and also walk in shower.

Ship tip

If you are priority make sure your directed to the right area.
