Overall, we loved our cruise. We had a suite so it came with benefits I would have hated to not have like being able to eat in the specialty restaurants at breakfast and lunch. The specialty restaurants were excellent! O'Sheehan's was really good too. Excellent bartenders! And our Beverage Package was absolutely worth it!
Embarkation

We had priority embarkation, so we didn't have to wait in line and after receiving our card, were escorted to a private lounge with food and drinks before boarding the ship.

We were thrilled with our balcony suite! I don't think I'd change anything about it. It was aft facing and we loved watching the Panama Canal from there. It was amazing!
Ship tip
If you're a pool lover, you'll need to eat breakfast early in order to grab a prime lounger on the pool deck. You snooze, you lose.
Beautiful place, but you can't swim in the ocean here because of the currents. We took a short sailing trip and saw whales and their famous arch then went into town on our own. Very safe and folks are friendly.
This was an amazing experience I'll never forget! We had a Canal employee on board narrating as we went through and the information and history given was informative and interesting - a definite highlight of the cruise!
This port caught us totally by surprise because it wasn't what we were expecting at all. It's a little Miami in the new town - all white condo buildings and sky scrapers. And in the old town, the walled city is a must see! There was so much history to hear about see. The only downfall was the unrelenting vendors trying to sell us hats and everything else, they never stopped! But upon return to the cruise ship terminal, there's a free small zoo and Juan Valdez store and they were so nice to go through before getting back on the ship - macaws, peacocks, black swans, pink flamingos!
We love Grand Cayman and have been there before. Stingray city is a must if you haven't been, go! 7-mile beach is close by ($4 cab fare) and beautiful. You can't go wrong with any of the excursions, but the island is easily explored on your own. We love this place!
We weren't able to connect with our concierge for priority disembarkation. We were able to get off with the excursion tour groups who were called fairly early in the process, but once we got our bags in the terminal (easy process) we ran into a huge line waiting to go through customs. That was the worst part, waiting to go through customs. They didn't have near enough custom agents for all of us, and it took over an hour. Once we reached an agent, the processing part went quickly and smoothly.
