We had a great time with our friends and our son. It was a nice ship and the staff was very friendly. Our cabin was a balcony and was well equipped. We had been out touring Italy for 3 weeks before the cruise and so it was nice to unpack for a full week and let the ship deal with the details. Already looking at a cruise for next year.
Embarkation
4 out of 5
Left from Venice. It's a bit of a walk from people mover to the terminal. Especially with luggage. Wish they had carts or someway to help you get luggage to terminal.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
The Versailles main dining room was great in service and ambiance. The food is average but fine. Cagney steak house was best specialty restaurant on the ship. BY FAR! Moderna was so so, Ginza was awful, and Le Bistro was good.
Onboard Activities

Entertainment
4 out of 5
We saw 3 shows. The production values were high and mostly very entertaining. Loved the magic show and the acrobatics show.
Children's Programs
4 out of 5
Our 17 year old son joined the teen program the first night and had fun the whole week. They stayed up late and saw shows, ate after hours, took dancing lessons, swam, played games and generally had a great time.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
Our room steward was awesome and the whole crew very friendly and helpful.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
It was difficult to navigate the first couple of days because on a couple of floors you can't traverse the whole length of ship and maps of layout weren't available but after we got a hsng of it we did just fine
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
Nice balcony room. Wish it had a top bunk for teenage son instead of pullout couch because when it was made into bed there was very little space to move.
Ship tip
If you're going on the current itinerary take ship excursions to see as much of Mykonos, Corfu and drubovnik as possible. They don't have full days there because it's high season.
